* 98% Four Year Residency Placement Rate is the percent of students attaining a residency position out of all graduates or expected graduates in 2020-21, 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 who were active applicants in the NRMP match or attained a residency outside the NRMP match.

We provide multiple pathways to becoming a doctor. We offer four distinct academic programs for students with diverse backgrounds: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Pre-Medical Master’s, BSc/MD Six-year, and BSc/MD Five-year Programs.

These pathways prioritize hands-on learning, quality education, and a shared commitment to creating a meaningful impact in medicine in the United States, Canada, and globally.

MD Program

• 4 years

• On Nevis in the Caribbean

• Clinical training in the U.S. or Canada

Pre-Medical 

Master's Program

• 8 months

• On-campus or online

• Ideal for career changers with an undergraduate-level degree and some foundational science coursework.

BSc/MD 6-Year Program

• 2 years pre-medical, 4  years MD

• On-campus or online

• Ideal for students with secondary school credentials

Bsc/MD 5-Year Program

• 1 year pre-medical, 4 years MD

• On-campus or online

• Ideal for students with advanced levels, diplomas credentials

Finance Your Medical Degree

We understand that your medical education is a significant investment, so upon successful completion of the pre-medical courses, and unconditional acceptance into the MD program, you can benefit from financial assistance - from scholarships to public funding.

In the U.S., MUA is authorized to participate in the William D. Ford Federal Direct Unsubsidized Stafford and Grad PLUS Loan programs, administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Canadian students can access Federal Loans via their provincial Ministry of Education Student Support Branch. Additionally, private student loans may be an option for eligible students.

Financial Aid

Scholarships up to $32,500 are available for students from the United States, Canada, and around the world.
